Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this free prize draw is: Northland Real Estate Properties (UK) Limited (company no 06815572) whose registered office is at Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4SD (referred to in these terms and condition as “we” or “us”).

2. The free prize draw is open to residents of England, Scotland & Wales only and you must be aged 16 years or above to enter. You cannot enter the prize draw either if you are an employee of Northland Real Estate Properties, Sandman Signature Hotels & Resorts, Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, CHOP Grill & Bar and Shark Club (the Group) or a family member of an employee of the Group or otherwise connected with the Group or judging of the free prize draw.

3. You need a valid e-mail address to enter the free prize draw and the award of the prizes under the prize draw is subject to you having a valid e-mail and in some cases a valid postal address (in England, Scotland and Wales only) where the nature of the gift requires to postage (for instance in the case of the Ringtons hampers set out in clause 10 below).

4. This is a free prize draw and there is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.

5. By entering this free prize draw, you are indicating your intention to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7. Only one entry per person will be accepted for this prize draw. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified and duplicates suppressed. The closing date for entering the prize draw is 31.12.24. After this date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted as the last prize will be awarded 31.12.24.

8. We accept no responsibility for any entries that are not received by us on time before the closing date set out in these terms and conditions.

9. The prize draw operates as follows:

a) You need to have access to a smartphone or other device with internet access to enter the prize draw. On scanning a QR code in-venue you will be re-directed to a web page and asked to complete an entry form that can be found here.

b) On completing the entry form, and provided you are eligible to enter the prize draw, you will be entered into the prize draw, and invited to subscribe to our mailing list. Please note that your consent to subscribe to our mailing list is not a condition of entry to the prize draw and you are free to refuse to subscribe to it at any time. c) When we receive your entry form we will send you a confirmation or ‘Thank you’ e-mail confirming that you have been entered into the prize draw – please check your junk folder and allow 48 hours to receive your confirmation e-mail.

d) Details of the prizes that are on offer are set out in clause 10 below. At the end of each calendar month set out in clause 10 (below) a winner will be picked for that month’s prize at random (i.e in March the prize is a Ringtons Hamper). A winner will be picked using a randomising software from the list of entries for the prize draw. The winner will be notified they have won by no later than 30 days after the draw and will have 14 days to claim their prize from date they are notified. A third party will then be appointed to deliver the prize to the winner. If the winner does not claim their prize during this time, we will select another winner at random and repeat the process. The winner will be contacted via e-mail. To make a claim the winner will need to respond via e-mail to claim their prize. The winner will not encore any costs to claim their prize.

10. Details of the prizes and when they are awarded are as follows:

a) February (to be awarded 29.02.24): Two nights dinner bed and breakfast in Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel & Spa, with breakfast for two*.

* Includes a standard room, dinner and breakfast in our on-site CHOP Grill & Bar for two. This will be awarded in the form of an e-voucher. E-voucher valid for 12 months upon the awarded date and redeemable by the winner direct with this hotel only.

b) March (to be awarded 31.03.24): Ringtons hamper*.

*Fulfilled by Ringtons Tea and a third-party delivery service. The hamper will be an assortment of Ringtons products packed and delivered in a cardboard box. The ‘hamper’ will not be a decorative wicker hamper, it will be a cardboard box to allow for transit.

c) April (to be awarded 30.04.24): Two nights dinner bed and breakfast in Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel, with breakfast for two*.

* Includes a standard room, dinner and breakfast in our on-site CHOP Grill & Bar. This will be awarded in the form of an e-voucher. E-voucher valid for 12 months upon the awarded date and bookable by the winner direct with the hotel.

d) May (to be awarded 31.05.24): Ringtons hamper*.

e) June (to be awarded 30.06.24): Sandman Signature Hotel gift card worth £200*.

*Redeemable on accommodation only at Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel, Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel & Spa, Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel or Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel.

f) July (to be awarded 31.07.24): Ringtons hamper*.

g) August (to be awarded 31.08.24): Win a Signature Spa Luxury Package for two*

*An e-voucher valid for 12 months from date awarded. A maximum value of £100. Non-refundable or transferable.

h) September (to be awarded 30.09.24): Two nights dinner bed and breakfast in Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel, with breakfast for two*.

*Includes a standard room, dinner and breakfast in our on-site SHARK Grill & Bar. This will be awarded in the form of an e-voucher. E-voucher valid for 12 months upon the awarded date and redeemable by the winner direct with this hotel only.

i) October (to be awarded 31.10.24): Ringtons hamper*.

j) November (to be awarded 30.11.24): Two nights dinner bed and breakfast in Portmarnock hotel, with breakfast for two*.

*Subject to availability, includes a standard room, dinner and breakfast in our on-site restaurant. This will be awarded in the form of an e-voucher. E-voucher valid for 12 months upon the awarded date and redeemable by the winner direct with this hotel only.

k) December (to be awarded 31.12.24): Win a £100 e-voucher for CHOP Grill & Bar Glasgow or CHOP Grill & Bar Aberdeen *.

*An e-voucher for use on all on-menu food & drink. E-voucher valid for 12 months upon the awarded date and bookable by the winner direct with the restaurant. Redeemable only at CHOP Grill & Bar Glasgow or CHOP Grill & Bar Aberdeen.

The prizes (and the relevant award dates for each prize) are as stated above. You cannot transfer a prize to anyone else and they are only redeemable as set out above. All prizes are subject to availability and demand and we reserve the right to offer you a substitute product of equivalent or greater value if we are unable to award a prize to you because the prize is unavailable due to reasons outside of our control. No cash alternatives will be offered. You are responsible for all your own travel expenses, insurance and other costs not otherwise covered by the prizes.

11. Winners will be chosen at random, using a third-party randomising software, from all of the entries received and verified by us before the awarded date at end of each calendar month during the term of the prize draw. For more details on the award dates for each of the prizes, see clause 10 above.

12. The winner will be notified by e-mail within 30 days of the ‘awarded’ date specified in for the relevant prize.

13. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of the date on which we notified them of their win, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner using the same award method set out above.

14. A third party or the promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered. Cost encored to collect the prize is not included.

15. We will use the name and county of prize winners in our post-event publicity. All winners will be given an opportunity to object to their personal information being published in this way. 16. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

17. Northland Real Estate Properties (UK) Limited’s decision as to those able to take part and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the prize draw will be entered into.

18. We reserve the right to change or modify these terms and conditions where we are required to do so as a matter of law. All entrants to the prize draw will be contacted via e-mail of any changes that are required.
